A bit about me.
Born in Cincinnati, raised in Novato, schooled in Kentucky. I've played trumpet in symphony orchestras, gazed down at Kabul from the top of the Khyber Pass, and survived one elementary-school fistfight (black eye, mine). I met my wife and best friend in junior high (we got married later), and I’m the embarrassing dad of two devastatingly handsome boys. I love the pho tai at Turtle Tower (RIP), all frosting, and watching this video over and over again.
I've been a writer, senior writer, associate creative director, and creative director at agencies large and small (here's my resume). My first project was writing an ad selling a collection of Home Depot DIY home improvement tips ("She is plumber, hear her roar."). It's been an incredible ride ever since.
Over the last several years, I've worked as a freelance creative director and writer for many well-known companies (Apple, eBay, Cisco, SunPower) and many working hard to get there.
I'm proud to say that most everything you see here represents years of asking lots of questions (so many questions), collaborating closely with others, and building relationships and trust to achieve great results.
